"The difference between great people and everyone else is that great people create their lives actively, while everyone else is created by their lives, passively waiting to see where life takes them next. The difference between the two is the difference between living fully and just existing." Michael E. Gerber
Have you taken the opportunity to join one or all of the new OWA Advisory Groups? There are three amazing and diverse groups to select from:
Each group meets on a quarterly basis to discuss pre-selected topics and work together to build professional connections and strengthen their networks.
Each advisory group has two volunteer leads who prepare the curriculum, based on the group's focus, and share their experiences and resources during the meeting to actively engage participants. These phenomenal women have knowledge and skills that can help complement and grow your knowledge and skill base as you progress throughout your career.
Why should you consider taking part in one of these groups? The optical field is undergoing rapid change like never before; continuing your growth and development can better prepare you for changing expectations and allow you to project confidence and leadership ability in your current and future roles.
