The career advice I would give my 18-year-old self is:Go to Optometry school and become a doctor. Eye care is your calling.
When I think about my career, I'm most excited about:When I think about my career, I am excited about taking care of our patients and the window to their world (their eyes). I love the relationships that come from seeing patients from year to year. I also love the relationships I have with industry partners, and doctors/staff across the country. Traveling for my job and meeting other leaders brings me so much joy. I love to soak up knowledge and pass my own experiences and knowledge to help others in our industry.
Daily, I read:Daily I read leadership/management development books and articles. I want to be the best leader/mentor I can be.

I recommend:Always be true to yourself. Don't change who you are to fit the mold. Beat to your own drum, and empower others to do the same.
