Skip the big salad bowl and provide safe treats - no doorbell needed!
Navigating Halloween in 2020 with kids was challenging (to say the least!) but it also changed the way we did things and sparked creative ways to keep everyone safe and still have time to go out trick-or-treating.
That year, and every year since, I've been winding a big clothesline across my porch posts with portioned treats for the littles. I'm able to wander the neighborhood with the kids while knowing that I don't have to be home to hand out candy. This works great for folks with napping babies and dogs too! The best part is that I can separate nut-free treats in their own labeled bags which prevents cross-contamination and helps keep kids with allergies safe.
Happy Halloween!
