One of my family's favorite things to cook is Korean food, and summer pairs perfectly with ribs. These ribs are full of flavor.
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sesame oil
4 garlic cloves minced
2 Tbs rice vinegar
3 sliced green onions
5 lbs Korean Style short ribs (beef chuck flanked, cut across the bone)
Combine the first seven ingredients in a large resealable bag. Gently massage the bag until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the ribs to the marinade, making sure each rib is fully coated. Squeeze any excess air out of the bag.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours. Massaging the bag and turning it over a few times.
Preheat the grill to high heat (450-500 degrees Fahrenheit).
Grill ribs for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach about 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
Garnish ribs with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
