Tenth Anniversary

On February 18, 2024, my husband and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. In 2014, we got married at City Hall in San Francisco and had a small reception in Sacramento a few days later. He was so busy at the reception, he didn't eat any cake! To surprise him this year, I hired the same bakery that made our original cake to recreate a smaller anniversary version. We had custom pineapple-shaped Lego cake coppers ten years ago, so I found a local pre-loved toy shop where I built a heart cake topper with Legos. Despite the atmospheric river outside, we had a great celebration - and he could eat cake with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
