Book 1 — Making the Case: How to be your own best Advocate

By Kimberly Guilfoyle

After an eleven-year-old Kimberly Guilfoyle lost her mother to leukemia, her dad wanted her to become as resilient and self-empowered as she could be. That childhood lesson led her to become the fearless advocate and quick-thinking spitfire she is today. In Making the Case, Guilfoyle interweaves stories and anecdotes from her life and career with practical advice that can help you win arguments, get what you want, come out ahead in any situation and help others along the way.

Making the Case: How to be your own best Advocate

Learning how to state your case effectively is not just important for lawyers — it's something everybody should know how to do, no matter their stage in life.

Guilfoyle has been there and done it. She landed her dream job right out of school and then switched careers seamlessly midstream. She managed her personal finances for greater growth and stability then found a way to divorce amicably and teach her young child to advocate for himself. She shares those stories in the book. The book covers how to organize your thoughts and plans, have meaningful discussions, and achieve your goals in all aspects of your life.

About the author: Kimberly Guilfoyle is a host of The Five and Outnumbered on Fox News. She also appears as a legal analyst on The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity. Before joining Fox in 2006, she was a host of Both Sides on Court TV and provided legal analysis for Anderson Cooper 360, Larry King Live, and ABC's Good Morning America. She is a former prosecutor and assistant district attorney. She served as first lady for the city of San Francisco. And was also a deputy district attorney for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. She currently lives in New York City.

"Making the Case provides a road map for personal success from a woman who has proved that it works. Even in the toughest of times and with the toughest of cases, Kimberly has figured out how to emerge on top. Now she's sharing the secrets to that enormous success."

Book 3 — Settle for More

By Megyn Kelly

Settle for More

Whether it's asking tough questions during a presidential debate or pressing for answers to today's most important issues, Megyn Kelly has demonstrated the intelligence, strength, common sense, and courage that have made her one of today's best-known journalists, respected by women and men, young and old, Republicans and Democrats.

In Settle for More, the anchor of The Kelly File reflects on the enduring values and experiences that have shaped her — from growing up in a family that rejected the "trophies for everyone" mentality, to her father's sudden, tragic death while she was in high school. She goes behind-the-scenes of her career, sharing the stories and struggles that landed her in the anchor chair of cable's top rated news show. Speaking candidly about her decision to "settle for more" — a motto she credits as having dramatically transformed her life at home and at work — Kelly discusses how she abandoned a thriving legal career to follow her journalism dreams.

About the author: Megyn Kelly is an American journalist, former attorney, and political commentator on the Fox News Channel where she is the host of The Kelly File. Politically, Kelly identifies as an independent. She was included in the 2014 Time list of the 100 most influential people.

"Deeply personal and surprising, Settle for More offers unparalleled insight into this charismatic and intriguing journalist, and inspires us all to embrace the principles — determination, honesty, and fortitude in the face of fear — that have won her fans across the political divide."
