The Optical Women's Association knows how to create a special event . . . and network with peers . . . and honor women who made great contributions to our industry. We'll be doing all of that in two special events held in conjunction with International Vision Expo East in New York City.
A Champagne Breakfast will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 7:15 - 9:15 a.m. at the trendy Kimpton Hotel Eventi, 851 6th Avenue in midtown Manhattan. Guests will get to hear from this year's three honorees (Kate Renwick-Espinosa, Lori Lippiatt, O.D., and Corinne McCormack) about their personal experiences and achievements throughout their career. Attendees will also enjoy an intimate interview with Dori Carlson, O.D., FAAO, past president (and first female president) of the American Optometric Association moderated by OWA President Maureen Cavanagh. The breakfast is graciously sponsored by OWA Platinum Sponsor, Luxottica.

The VIP Star Award Ceremony & Networking Event will be held Saturday, April 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Le Parker Meridien Hotel's Estrella Penthouse and Terrace, 119 West 56th Street, a stunning location overlooking New York's famed Central Park and the city skyline.
The Pyxis, Pleiades, and Pinnacle honorees will be celebrated at this very special event, which is presented by OWA Platinum Sponsors VSP Global and Marchon.
