With all the many events, seminars, and mixers at Vision Expo, it's easy to go into overload and be tempted to skip a few after a long day in heels. The Red Carpet networking event is definitely not one to miss!
The night was filled with tangible excitement as guests perused the amazing raffle prizes soon to find their new homes with the lucky winners. As always, our generous sponsors out did themselves with donations ranging from the latest must-have electronic gadgets and gift cards to phenomenal eyewear packages and yes, even Louis Vuitton wallets. The enthusiasm of each winner was infectious as they rushed to the stage to claim their prize.
Thanks to the "Power of One" membership initiative, we saw many new faces join our dynamic organization. Special recognition went to Deb Bulken for bringing in the most new members for the evening. What once started as a very small group of women who had a vision to enhance the role of women in leadership in the optical industry has become a thriving group of over 500 women from every facet of the industry.
