Congratulations to Dr. Janelle Routhier, who Essilor has named one of their Women of Leadership. As an industry veteran and OWA member for the past two years, Dr. Routhier leads a team at Essilor dedicated to eyecare professionals and helping them grow their businesses. Using a proprietary online adult learning educational suite called ECP University™, she and her team help support practices with their business operations, practice management, and staff training. ECP University™ offers various programs including the Management Development Program, Management and Business Academy (MBA), and numerous online learning resources. ECPs can also invest in an online e-commerce site to provide their staff access to an extended subscription to online courses, an ABO Exam Prep course, or secure a seat in Essilor's live Management Development Program. Prior to her work at Essilor, Janelle was a key member of the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care team, was in private practice optometry, and served as clinical faculty at the Michigan College of Optometry, from where she earned a Doctorate of Optometry and completed a residency specializing in the cornea and contact lenses. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and British Contact Lens Association, Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry, and licensed in the states of Michigan and Florida.
