The OWA is excited to announce that we will be live streaming the Connection Series event Girl Bosses: Optical Industry Entrepreneurs at Vision Expo West on Thursday, September 15th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Pacific Time).
What's so great is that OWA members who aren't attending Vision Expo West can absolutely join us and benefit from this event through live streaming via the free Periscope app!
To get ready, please follow the downloading instructions below. The free Periscope app is available for download from the Apps Store for any Apple or Android device, it's that easy.
Join us for the Connection Series event, Girl Bosses, whether or not you are attending Vision Expo West! RSVP not required to attend the live stream version of this event.
Periscope Instructions for Connection Series — "Girl Bosses"
- Download Periscope from the apps store for your mobile device (Not available for laptop/desktop computers.)
- Open the app and sign in using your phone number. The app will send you a 6 digit code to verify.
- Enter the code and hit "Continue".
- Enter your full name and a user name, then hit "Create Account".
- Now you are logged into the app. You must now search PEOPLE.
- Type OWA2016 into the search bar. Once the list pops up, the first selection should be "Jenn Jack@OWA2016". Select that profile.
- You can select to "follow" that profile to easily return easily for the live steam event.
- We will live stream from the Connection Series Event on September 15, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
- Tune into to watch it live if you are unable to attend the event in person.
