When I think about my career, I'm most excited about:The connections I get to make in the optical industry. Having the opportunity to express my creativity through events, writing, and social media. Before the pandemic, I was working as an optician in a office setting for twelve years. I am proud of myself for breaking into the marketing field using my experience as an optician. I get to work from home, which makes balancing family life much easier. Being able to show my young children that their mom has a career she loves is pretty cool.
Daily, I read:I am always reading a book, but the genre varies depending on my mood. I listen to pop culture, current events, and history podcasts daily.

I recommend:Create routines that excite you to get up and start the day. Maybe it's drinking coffee from your favorite mug, doing yoga, listening to your favorite podcast, journaling, etc. It's also important to listen to your body's needs and rest. It's okay if every day isn't productive.
