The OWA actively welcomes all women in optical to become members and to take part in the creation of, and participation in, our resources, events, and programs. Members of the Optical Women's Association are encouraged to excel in their chosen way, and by actively welcoming and celebrating diversity and inclusion, we create space for growth and a richer experience for all.

Show Your Support of the OWA as an Individual Contributor

There are many reasons to become an individual contributor of the OWA. As one of our contributors states, "It truly makes me feel good knowing that I am doing a small part to support all of the incredible women of our industry, so many who have faced past adversity in a male-dominated business and who are now leaders in their own right. Knowing I am personally supporting these women is a true benefit unto itself."

OWA Town Hall

In case you missed it, the OWA held its first-ever Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, September 20! It was an opportunity to meet and speak directly to OWA board members, hear more about the OWA's activities and initiatives, and greet fellow members. The OWA brings together a wonderful community of women in the optical industry that is supported and encouraged by our members and sponsors. We want to make sure we continue to do our best to fulfill our mission of connecting, leading, and inspiring. We enjoyed seeing everyone at this inaugural event!
