It's time to reflect on 2014, the good and the bad. It's a time for making New Year's Resolutions and a time for growth, whether it's in the optical field, your professional career, as a parent, teacher, or as a friend. We're so busy that we often find ourselves frazzled by the end of the week with little time to make connections with the people we love. Let's kick off the year with a commitment to take a little time out to focus on what's important, even if it's five minutes to read the OWA Newsletter and get a little inspiration!
In this issue, we've highlighted the Top 10 quotes from the One Minute Mentor series. Take a moment and let these soak in as you plan for 2015!

- "While curveballs in life are generally not what one plans for, it's how they're handled that really makes the difference." — Karen A. Michaelson, ABOC
- "In this technology driven, fast paced environment in which we live and work, it's refreshing to observe the joy of people touching people's lives by simply taking steps to Connect. Inspire. Lead." — Ann E. Englert
