On September 3rd, VSP hosted the Optical Women's Association (OWA) West Coast Mixer at VSP headquarters in Rancho Cordova, CA. Over 60 attendees enjoyed the camaraderie and networking opportunities with their peers and learning about the benefits of OWA membership.
Current OWA Board Member and VSP Global Chief Marketing Officer Kate Renwick-Espinosa, along with OWA founding member Valerie Manso, shared their experiences in the association and as women in the world of optics. Attendees also engaged in fun "speed networking" activities where they openly discussed key topics about the industry and the future of VSP.
The crowd enjoyed wine, an iSnap photo booth, great food and raffle prizes that included a one-year membership in the OWA.
