OWA Announces 2009 Professional Development Fund Sponsors
The OWA is pleased to announce the 2009 Sponsors of the Professional Development Fund, a program developed to support the OWA mission by delivering meaningful services to women of the optical industry. The Professional Development Fund (PDF) enables the OWA to continue to expand membership benefits, provide events, programs and new resources for the growing organization.
The Professional Development Fund supports agenda items such as networking events at East & West Expo's, POWW (Professional Optical Women's Workshops), the Star Mentoring program, One Minute Mentor and Members Only professional materials and tools. Sponsors receive tiered levels of recognition in all OWA publications, ads and at events for their support.
To enhance and promote the leadership role of women in the ophthalmic industry through networking and peer-support has been the mission of the OWA since its inception. With this in mind, the sponsors of the Professional Development Fund excel in their support.
