Mentoring WebinarsExpert Panel Webinar SeriesBeing able to mentor someone or to be mentored is an invaluable tool for one's professional growth, and ultimately for business. Unfortunately, many people don't get that experience. It may be due to the lack of a defined program within an organization, time, or simply not knowing how to ask or offer to be part of such a program. Mentoring, however, can also be a bit more informal, simply taking the time to listen to and observe what others have done and incorporate some of that experience into your own work. This is where the Optical Women's Association's new Expert Panel Webinar Series comes into play. Each Expert Panel consists of 3 women who will share their experience and knowledge related to a specific topic via a webinar, highlighting what they have done to be successful in that area. Because the OWA is filled with tremendous talent, each webinar will consist of different panelists. The program will feature 2 webinars per year, and each will allow time for Q&A. The Expert Panel Webinars are available at no charge to members of the OWA. The OWA encourages women to join our membership to take part in this valuable learning tool. Each Expert Panel Series webinar will also be archived here for those that cannot attend the live event. |
