The career advice I would give my 18-year-old self is:Be happy you didnt grow-up when Social Media was a thing. Love yourself and be brave! There are going to be bad days but end on a positive note and recharge for the next obstacle. Lastly, failure doesn't exist if you keep striving towards your goal.
When I think about my career, I'm most excited about:Building relationships and networking. I love when I get the chance to match someone up with their career that makes a huge difference in their life. I get to play matchmaker every day and I meet so many interesting people.
Daily, I read:Motivational speeches - I especially love ones from Navy Seals that prove you can do anything that you set your mind to achieve.
My theme song is:Depends on the day! Today it would be Happy by Pharrell Williams
I recommend:Surround yourself with people that will help you grow, boost you when you need it, and tell you how you can be better. Live a life that makes your future self proud. Be the person that stops to help someone who just dropped their keys and they have their hands full. And don't expect anything in return - Karma does exist. Prepare yourself when you can but be ok with thinking on your feet when you need to. Become a member of OWA because I have met so many incredibly strong amazing woman through this association.
